Glucosamine is a molecule naturally present in the body, it is a normal component of the cartilage. It plays a role in maintaining and protecting the cartilage of all joints.

With age the production of glucosamine decreases, this causes degeneration of the cartilage and subsequently the installation of osteoarthritis. At this point it becomes necessary to take exogenous glucosamine. The commercially available glucosamine is in the form of glucosamine sulfate o glucosamine hydrochloride and comes from the crustacean exoskeleton.

It should be noted that osteoarthritis is the most common form of joint infections, affecting more than 50% of patients older than 65 years.

To help people with osteoarthritis and other joint problems LABORATOIRE SUISSE launches the first GLUCOSAMINE SUSTAINED RELEASE. It is a product with an innovative technology that allows sustained and prolonged release of the active molecule for 12 hours. In addition to reducing tablet intake during the day this innovative product makes the effect of glucosamine longer and continuously.

THE GLUCOSAMINE SUSTAINED RELEASE has many benefits recognized by Health Canada: Antioxidant for the maintenance of good health, helps the development and maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums, helps the formation of connective tissue and the healing of wounds, helps the body to metabolize lipids and proteins.
