Description
Melatonin is a hormone made by the brain to promote sleep. A low secretion of melatonin can cause sleep disorders such as insomnia, difficulty falling asleep or too light sleep. The supply of melatonin by supplementation is therefore a good solution to regain a restful sleep.
Instructions and cautions
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a hormonal disorder, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, migraines, depression and/or high blood pressure or are taking medication for high blood pressure or sedative/hypnotics, Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen or if sleeplessness persist for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia).
Contraindications: Do not use if you are taking immunosuppressive drugs, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drive, use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin.
